We've got great senses of humor at Projjex. Until it comes to the security of your information. Then we're deadly serious.

We selected Rackspace, one of the world's leading hosting providers, to store your data. Your data is in good company as the U.S Marines and General Electric have also selected Rackspace to host their data.

Rackspace provides impressive physical security. All our servers are housed inside their secure facility that is accessible only by authorized personnel. Rackspace facilities are not only secured against unauthorized access but also protected against fire and power outages. As well, they are carefully climate controlled.

All data is protected by firewalls that are monitored around-the-clock by security specialists. In addition, our systems are constantly monitored by intrusion detection systems to ensure that only our authorized clients have access to their data.

All of our customers (including our free users) are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption. SSL "locks" your browser when you're working with Projjex and scrambles all data that is transmitted over the Internet.

All data is instantly stored redundantly on multiple drives and multiple servers. This protects against the possibility of data loss from the mechanical failure of a hard drive or the loss of a server.

All data is backed up once a day and then immediately moved to a secure off-site location. Off-site backup tapes are stored for 28 days before being re-introduced. Off-site backups protect against a catastrophe such as a tornado.

Finally, data privacy laws in both the U.S. and Canada further protect your data. They clearly stipulate that your data is YOUR data and that, as stewards of your data, we are duty-bound to look after it.
